Mandarin Chinese, the official language of mainland China, is growing in popularity among American language learners. Though many are intimidated by Chinese characters, pronunciation, and tones, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how intuitive it is if you are a native English speaker. You’ll be able to converse with the Mandarin-speakers in your life sooner than you think!
